Together with its subsidiary Sutco Brasil, Sutco RecyclingTechnik has built the plant for its client Ciclare in the state of Santa Catarina. The plant is one of the country's pioneering facilities, leveraging advanced automated sorting technology to process mixed municipal and household waste efficiently on a large scale. This marks an important step in the expansion of state-of-the-art recycling technology in the region.
The sorting plant processes up to 52 tonnes of mixed household waste per hour (approx. 225,000 tonnes per year). Equipped with state-of-the-art sorting technology, including five optical NIR sorters and a fully automated channel baler, the plant sets new standards for efficiency, automation and material recovery in Brazil.
