This move is driven by the dynamic development of the market: many countries are currently investing heavily in modern waste and recycling infrastructure, driving forward national sustainability programmes and setting ambitious recycling targets.
This presents exciting opportunities for innovative sorting and processing solutions “Made in Germany”. This is precisely where Sutco intends to apply its expertise and technologies in a targeted manner.
The fact that this move comes at exactly the right time is also demonstrated by the 2026 trade fair calendar: as early as January, Sutco was represented at the German joint stand in Abu Dhabi as part of the WFES (World Future Energy Summit). This was followed shortly afterwards by participation in IFAT Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, also at the German joint stand.
Both events provided an excellent platform for making new contacts, holding in-depth technical discussions and receiving concrete project enquiries from the region. The positive feedback confirms that we are on the right track: the MENA region will play an even more important role for Sutco in the future.
