After nearly a year and a half of intensive work, the project titled "Construction of a Municipal Waste Sorting Facility with Accompanying Infrastructure on the Premises of ZGO in Brzeszcze" has reached its final stage. The general contractor for the investment was Arco System Sp. z o.o. from Oświęcim, responsible for the comprehensive execution of construction works. A key technological partner was Sutco Polska, which delivered state-of-the-art solutions for mechanical waste processing.
Under the terms of the contract, Sutco Polska developed the complete concept for the technological line, supplied all necessary equipment, and carried out installation. The company’s team also conducted commissioning, testing, personnel training, and the implementation of a control and process visualization system.
As part of the investment, a new sorting hall was built and equipped by Sutco with cutting-edge machinery, including four next-generation optical separators, two ferrous metal separators, a ballistic separator, a bag opener, a drum screen, a baling press with perforator, as well as a fully automated process control and visualization system.
Thanks to the implementation of innovative technologies, the sorting facility enables the recovery of valuable secondary raw materials and significantly reduces the volume of waste sent to landfills.
